Declaration on accessibility in accordance with the European Accessibility Act – EAA, Directive (EU) 2019/882

We are committed to making our website as barrier-free and accessible as possible for all people – regardless of physical or cognitive limitations. Our aim is to provide an inclusive user experience that allows all visitors to use our content without restriction.

Measures implemented:

2. Screen-reader compatibility: The website is compatible with commonly used screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. The integration of ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) and semantically correct HTML ensures that all content is readable and understandable for blind and visually impaired users.
3. Keyboard navigation: Users with motor impairments can navigate the entire website using the keyboard. Functions such as navigation via the tab key, control of drop-down menus with arrow keys, and quick links support barrier-free operation.
4. Accessible user profiles: Pre-set profiles are available for specific requirements, including: epilepsy-safe profile (avoidance of flashing content), profile for visual impairments, profile for cognitive impairments (e.g. autism, dyslexia), ADHD-friendly profile (reduced distraction), screen-reader profile for blind users, keyboard navigation profile for people with motor impairments.
5. Further supporting functions: Our website also offers additional options, such as highlighting content, pausing animations, muting audio content, and access to a virtual keyboard.

Technical compatibility: We strive to support as many common operating systems, browsers, and assistive technologies as possible – including Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and supporting software such as JAWS and NVDA.
