Since 1980, our hotel has been home to holiday dreams for all ages – back then under the name Alphotel Tyrol. Martin’s parents, Josef and Johanna Eisendle, founded it as a small bed and breakfast with 21 rooms. Much has changed since then, but one thing has always remained: the warmth and high quality with which we welcome our guests.
Those who knew Alphotel Tyrol will find its essence in Alpura – but on a much bigger scale and offering greater variety. As a family, we know all too well the needs families have on holiday: the longing to spend time together and the desire to savour your own space. A wish for flexibility and a need for comfort that includes every family member.
It’s from our own experience that our unique multi-generational concept has grown: we want to be your retreat in the unspoilt nature of Ratschings – a place where you can enjoy your holiday without compromise, as a family, couple, or solo traveller.

In rhythm with the Ratschings landscape
When designing our retreat, we had people like you in mind – people who feel most at home in nature. The vibrant architecture, natural colours, and timeless materials, such as reclaimed wood, roof shingles, and natural stone – all rooted in this region – create an atmosphere that expresses a sense of lightness and openness, and surprises precisely through its quiet simplicity.
One shape dominates above all: the hexagon, an ancient element of traditional South Tyrolean architecture, found on farmhouses and barns. It forms a bridge between our local heritage and your feel-good experience at Alpura: the honeycomb as a symbol of comfort, your personal cocoon opening out into nature.
In this way, our five-star retreat blends seamlessly into the Ratschings landscape. A landscape to which we feel deeply connected – it is, after all, where our roots lie. To protect, preserve, and nurture this unique environment, we rely on eco-friendly measures – from the use of renewable energy and low-impact mobility to local products and our own mountain spring water. To ensure that it remains just as beautiful tomorrow as it is today.
